BANEX OPENS ITS LENDING TO FOREIGNERS

Historically purchasing real estate in Costa Rica has been cash only for foreigners. Most people had only one option and that was cash, but the ones that didn?t had relied on refinancing their assets back in the United States to purchase Costa Rica Real Estate.
Banco Banex of Costa Rica in cooperation with Stewart Title Mortgage, have joined forces to bring you a new lending program. This program is specifically designed for non-resident North American citizens. .
For a house or condo, Banex offers a 25 year adjustable rate mortgage with a 25% down payment (75% LTV) for the wage earner, and 30% down payment (70% LTV) for self-employed or non-wage applicant.
On raw land, Banex will loan up to 10 years with 40% down payment (60% LTV)
There will be no pre-payment penalties!
This financing program is designed to help you get into the Costa Rican real estate market so you can benefit from the price appreciation over time.
